Souper Bowl Party

souperbowlJoin us for some fun, fellowship, food and football!!

Sunday, February 7, at 5 pm in the fellowship hall.

Drinks and soup will be provided. Please bring a dessert and/or finger-food to share.

We will watch the big game, and Pastor John will share a devotion during halftime.

Board games will be available for those not interested in watch the game.

FBC to host Men’s Simulcast

First Baptist is excited to host a unique event that will stir and encourage men to be better spiritual leaders.

Friday night and Saturday morning, February 5 & 6, we will live stream a broadcast from First Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA. The main speaker will be Pastor Johnny Hunt.

Watch this video to learn a little more about the event.

Cost is $10 (at the door), which includes program, some take-home materials and snacks.

Sessions begin Friday at 5:30 pm and Saturday at 7 am.

Youthquake 2016

Hope_for_the_Hungry01First Baptist Church will be taking students to Youthquake on Saturday, January 30. Youthquake is an awesome event that includes energetic worship, a powerful message and an opportunity to serve others through Hope for the Hungry.

Cost is $10.

Discipleship Training Classes starting January 24

We will be hosting 2 new Discipleship Training classes this spring – 1 for men and 1 for women. Classes will run Sunday nights, January 24 – March 20.

The women’s study will be “Mercy Triumphs,” a study that centers on the book of James, taught by Beth Moore. Class will run from 5-7pm. Workbook cost is $16. Watch this brief video to learn a little more about the study.

The men’s study will be “Crazy Grace for Crazy Times,” taught by Derwin L. Gray, former Indianapolis Colts linebacker. Class will run from 6-7 pm. Workbook cost is $13. Watch this brief video to learn a little more about the study.

We will also have a children’s class happening from 6-7 pm where they will be working on a presentation for Easter Sunday morning (March 27.) We are working on childcare for 5-6 pm. Stay tuned for updates.
