Shoebox totals for Operation Christmas Child

ShoeboxesThank you church family for the way you embraced the mission of Operation Christmas Child this fall. Because of you, 229 children in need around the world will receive Christmas gifts and be introduced to Jesus Christ! In our first year as a Community Shoebox Drop-off Location, we collected a total of 667 shoebox gifts! We give God all the glory for the way He opened hearts in our community and area. Thank you for personally being involved in sharing good news and great joy with children who desperately need Jesus’ love.

We want to thank our amazing leadership team for all their hard work and commitment to this ministry: Carole Clapp, Joyce Hawks, Alyssa Smith, Tiffani Vines, Mary West and Jill Cobb.

Ways to be involved in DiscipleNow Weekend

anomalyThe DiscipleNow Weekend Dec. 4-6 is a church-wide event, and we need all hands on deck!

Please consider helping with food, because we will need lots of it! Contact Angie Jester for specific ways you can help.

Please be in prayer for the students and the weekend:

  • Pray that God will work in the lives of the youth and adults involved
  • Pray for safety during travel and activities
  • Pray for wisdom and energy for the adult leaders and host homes

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Richie Jester at (417) 230-5183 or leave a message at the church.
