Ways to be involved in DiscipleNow Weekend

anomalyThe DiscipleNow Weekend Dec. 4-6 is a church-wide event, and we need all hands on deck!

Please consider helping with food, because we will need lots of it! Contact Angie Jester for specific ways you can help.

Please be in prayer for the students and the weekend:

  • Pray that God will work in the lives of the youth and adults involved
  • Pray for safety during travel and activities
  • Pray for wisdom and energy for the adult leaders and host homes

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact Richie Jester at (417) 230-5183 or leave a message at the church.

Shoebox Dedication This Sunday, Nov. 15

christmas-shoe-boxes-mwfx5lxfThere is one more week to pack your shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! This Sunday, Nov. 15, we will have a special dedication time during both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services for the shoeboxes our church has packed.

Bring your boxes this Sunday, and we will bring them forward during the service and fill the stage with our gifts. Each box represents a child around the world who will be introduced to Jesus. Each box brings one child gifts and supplies they need, letting them know that somewhere in the world is a person who loves them, and help them to realize there is a God who loves them too.

It’s not too late to pick up a shoebox to pack! Stop by the church this week to get yours.
