Hanging of the Christmas Greens Service Nov. 29

Hanging of the GreensJoin us for a special church service Sunday, Nov. 29 for our church’s annual Hanging of the Greens!

That morning, we as a church will participate in decorating the sanctuary for the Christmas season. Sunday School classes will be invited to come up at certain times to trim the trees, light the lights, hang bows and other elements to prepare us for Christmas. Even all the children and students of our church come up to hang ornaments on the trees.

This is a Sunday you and your family, from the youngest to the oldest, won’t want to miss!

** Note, service times will be different that morning only. Sunday School will be at 9:15 a.m., and there will be ONE combined worship service at 10:30 a.m.

Shoebox Dedication This Sunday, Nov. 15

christmas-shoe-boxes-mwfx5lxfThere is one more week to pack your shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! This Sunday, Nov. 15, we will have a special dedication time during both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services for the shoeboxes our church has packed.

Bring your boxes this Sunday, and we will bring them forward during the service and fill the stage with our gifts. Each box represents a child around the world who will be introduced to Jesus. Each box brings one child gifts and supplies they need, letting them know that somewhere in the world is a person who loves them, and help them to realize there is a God who loves them too.

It’s not too late to pick up a shoebox to pack! Stop by the church this week to get yours.
